2nd Annual Lincolnshire Renaissance Faire

The inaugural "Lincolnshire Renaissance Faire" will take place this year on the grounds of the Decatur Conference Center & Hotel.
This is a full-scale family festival with authentic horseback jousting, comedy swordplay, pirate shows, music & Madrigal singing, Samurai demonstrations, magic & fire-juggling, a children's realm, living history encampments, folkways exhibits, a beer garden with wine-tasting and a variety of foods & novelty treats.
This event runs on saturday & sunday, Oct. 13-14th from 11am to
6pm, rain or shine.
Admission is $10 with kids from 8 to 14 at $5 and children free. Employees
of State Farm Insurance and Mitsubishi Motors N.A. get in at half-price with
a company ID card. Any area university or college students get in at half-price
with their student ID.
This event is produced by Gregory Schmidt of Festivals International, who
is also producer of the Bueno Gang children's video series and a working
film actor.
